When Kiersten chose a quiet farm in Churubusco, Indiana, for her senior pictures, I knew it was going to be beautiful. Kiersten is a senior at Eagle Tech Academy, and she has so many interests that make her unique. She enjoys nail art, camping and hunting, and never misses a chance to spend time with her family. She also loves quiet nights watching movies, showing that she’s both adventurous and laid-back. While her session wasn’t designed around these hobbies, her personality came through in every look, from ripped jeans in the pasture to a floral dress glowing in the sunset.


After graduation, Kiersten plans to attend Saint Francis University to study sonography while working as a medical assistant. She’s hardworking, caring, and focused, qualities that shined through in her portraits and will serve her well in her future career. One of the biggest things I tell my seniors is that your photos don’t have to feel stiff or overly posed. It’s totally normal to feel a little awkward at first, but my goal is always to make the session relaxed, fun, and true to you.
